Monday, Monday

The weekend went fairly well, Saturday we went to Sam's for supper (the.best.Greek.salad. EVER) and on Sunday, I was craving A&W- ate the mozza burger and only half the onion rings. that's progress, right?
Today is off to an OK start. L and I are doing the South Beach diet again. I didn't have time to make eggs, so I did eggos.
Supper will be a steak and broccoli stir-fry (steak, onions, peppers, broccoli, mushrooms). I have points left for a snack, not sure what it's going to be yet. There are limits when you're on the beach.

Here's the recipe for the steak stir-fry:
About 1/2 lb lean steak, sliced thin
1 onion, cut into wedges
1 green pepper sliced
about 2 cups of mushrooms sliced
2 cups broccoli
about 1/4 cup hoi sin sauce
1 tsp garlic
3-4 tbsp water
Stir-fry the steak in a hot pan, add the veggies. Mix the sauce, garlic and water together. Pour over the meat and veggies, simmer until the broccoli is cooked.
This makes about 2 servings if you're really hungry (or doing South Beach)
